Charlotte’s carrot cake is our #1 BEST dessert at Due Papaveri. Troy and I can not get enough of this cake. We eat it every chance we get.
The BEST parts about this cake are its dense yet moist texture, almond and macaroon flavors and the fact that it’s not too sweet. The combination is a standout.
It is decadently served with a creamy mascarpone cream with vanilla rum (see recipe tab) for dessert, and Charlotte even serves it for breakfast. What a way to wake up!
